Celebrate a Cornish Christmas in Padstow - one of Cornwall's most famous and picturesque harbour towns!

Here, at The Metropole Hotel, we've got lots planned for our festive breaks - and as you would expect from the 'foodie capital' of the UK, it involves lots of delicious food, in addition to entertainment, music and a warm welcome from our team.

CHRISTMAS

Our 3 night CHRISTMAS package (arrive 24th December 2012, depart 27th December 2012) starts FROM JUST £555 PER PERSON. On arrival, on Christmas Eve, you'll be greeted with mulled wine and mince pies and then, whilst we take your luggage to your room, relax with a traditional Cornish cream tea in our sea view lounge. The General Manager's cocktail party starts at 6.30pm, followed by a delicious dinner in the Harbour View restaurant at 7pm. There will be musical entertainment throughout the evening.

Start Christmas Day with a full Cornish breakfast and then the morning is yours to enjoy. Why not take a stroll round Padstow's delightful harbour to whet your appetite for Chef's fabulous 5 course Christmas Day lunch at 1pm? The Queen's speech will be shown in the Lounge - and we hope you will still have room for a slice of Christmas cake! There will be a candlelit buffet supper to close this special day. Boxing Day activities include a horse racing event in the Lounge, followed by a sumptuous buffet lunch. Then join us for an exclusive wine tasting in the afternoon. The evening starts with pre-dinner drinks, followed by a 5 course Gala Dinner. After dinner, test your general knowledge with our Christmas quiz.

On 27th December, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take advantage of a midday departure, before saying goodbye and heading home.

NEW YEAR

Our 1 night NEW YEAR package (arrive 31st December 2012, depart 1st January 2013) offers rates FROM £190 PER PERSON and starts with an indulgent Cornish cream tea. The New Year's Eve celebrations begin with a pre-dinner drinks and reception canapés (including award-wining Camel Calley Brut), followed by a gourmet five course dinner, live music and champagne to see in the New Year. We'll make sure you enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing on New Year's Day, when you can also take advantage of a midday departure.
